In summer, I live in the tiny village of Sedgwick, Maine on the Blue Hill Peninsula. Once a bustling fishing, shipbuilding and sawmill center, the village is now home to modern rusticators. Seen from across the Benjamin River, its "skyline" is iconic and I have painted it dozens of times in all lights and seasons. This take captures the evening light on the river's tidal flats.
