This year's edition includes watercolors I made last summer when things felt very dark. I felt unable to drag my oil painting gear out to paint so I packed a small watercolor kit and hiked or biked to many of my favorite locations to just sit, be, and paint. This practice brought me calm and resulted in a sweet body of small paintings (see them all here).
