Greenhead Pileup, Oil on Linen 12" x 12" unframed with painted edges
Piles of lobster traps are such a common sight here that I barely notice them, but I was stuck by this pileup's jaunty angle and color-coordinated coils of rope. It was on a dock in the Greenhead district of Stonington, Maine.
