I pass this field of glacial erratics, huge boulders deposited by ancient glaciers, almost every day on my way into town. Many commercial blueberry harvesters have bulldozed the huge rocks into neat piles, but this field in Blue Hill, Maine remains the way God -and the glacier - intended it.
