I arrived at the lobster coop in Stonington at 3 pm to score some tasty crustaceans for our evening meal, not realizing it was magic hour, when fishermen arrive at the dock to unload their catch. The 12 foot tide was at its lowest ebb, and despite my vertigo I loved the way the ramp descended into this little world of busy elves. The challenge was to balance all the action with the more quiet passages by using points of red, blue, and orange to lead the eye around the composition. Oh, and the lobsters were delicious!
