My summer home is surrounded by blueberry barrens. In the fall they turn so red they make your eyes hurt. But in the spring, the new leaves and tiny blossoms turn the rocky hillsides pink. This was painted on Christy Hill in Sedgwick, looking east towards the mountains of Acadia National Park.
